Industrial Glass Company

If you head down to the T. T. C. M. I. D. C. area in Turbhe Vashi, you’ll find us at Plot No. C-206. Industrial Glass Company isn't a place with a shiny lobby or a receptionist. It’s a workshop. We deal with industrial-grade glass mostly, which means everything is bigger and heavier than what you’d find in a house. The trucks come in and out of the industrial zone all day, making the ground shake a little. We have a solid crew of guys who know how to operate the heavy lifting equipment. Safety is something we think about, but we don't talk about it in a corporate way, we just make sure nobody gets hurt. The air smells like machinery and grease sometimes. We've been at this plot for a good number of years. It’s a practical location for us because of the transport links. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or checking the edges of a fresh cut. We have a small office in the corner where the paperwork piles up, but we prefer being out on the floor. It’s a bit of a gritty job, and you go home tired every evening. But there’s something good about seeing a finished piece of glass ready for a factory or a big building. That is what we do here and we keep at it.
