Asha Aluminium & Glass Prop Pat is located at Chawl No. 01 on Pokharan Road No 1 in Naupada. It is a basic shop where we handle a lot of glass and aluminium work every single day. If you know the area around Naupada, you know how busy the roads get. Our shop is right in the middle of that. We do not have a big showroom or anything like that. It is just Chawl No. 01 where we keep all the frames and glass sheets. Most days involve a lot of cutting and fitting. The sound of the saw is something we are very used to by now. It is a small space, so we have to be organized or we run out of room to move things around. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time wiping the glass down so it stays clear. We are just local people doing a job. We have been here for a good while and the neighbors know us. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just take orders and get them done. Sometimes it is window frames, other times it is glass for a cabinet. We just use our hands and the tools we have. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We do not use any big slogans. We just work at our benches in the chawl and try to keep up with everything.
