We are tucked away in Uddyam Wadi, over in the Naupada area. The place is called Ghantali, and we are right there in Vishnu Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood with a lot of houses and small shops. Our work is all about making laddoos. We have big tubs of flour and sugar and ghee everywhere. The smell of roasting gram flour is basically stuck in our clothes by now. It’s a bit of a messy process, especially when we are rolling the laddoos by hand. We aren't a big factory with robots. It’s just us sitting around the big tables getting the work done. The kitchen is old and the walls are a bit stained from the steam and the cooking, but it’s where we spend all our time. We have a lot of regular customers from the nearby streets who just walk in to see what’s fresh. We don’t have a website that we update often or anything like that. Most of our orders come from people calling us up on the phone or just stopping by. We have to be careful with the storage because of the ants and the heat. It’s a simple life. We make the sweets, we pack them in cardboard boxes, and we sell them. It’s been the same routine for a long time now. We aren't fancy, we just do what we know how to do best.
