If you ever find yourself in Sector 17 of Vashi, you know how crowded it can get, especially around the Vardhaman Market area. Our place is at number 324 on Plot 75. It’s a bit of a maze in this building sometimes, but we’ve been here long enough that we could find our door blindfolded. We deal with controls and technical stuff, so the office is usually full of manuals and small parts scattered on the tables. It’s a functional space where we spend most of our hours drinking coffee and checking over technical drawings. Being in Vashi is great because of the connectivity, but parking is always a nightmare near the market. We don’t really have a reception area that looks like a five-star hotel; it’s just a counter and some chairs. Most of our day involves answering the landline and chatting with people who need specific components for their machines. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, and the lighting could probably be better, but it’s home for us during the work week. We know the other shop owners nearby, and we usually grab lunch from the local spots around the sector. It’s a standard business life in Navi Mumbai. No frills, just steady work and making sure we get through the daily list of tasks before the commute back home starts.
