Working out of the Golani Complex in Waliv is an experience, especially during the monsoon when the roads in Vasai East get a bit tricky. We are located at unit number 2 in Shakti Industrial Estate. It’s a busy place with trucks moving in and out all day long. Our office isn't very quiet because of all the nearby workshops, but we've gotten used to the noise over the years. Inside, it’s mostly desks piled with paperwork and some samples of what we handle. Being in Thane, specifically this industrial belt, means we are surrounded by people who are just trying to get their work done. We usually start our day early to beat some of the heat. The space is practical, nothing fancy at all. We have a small staff and most of us have been here for a long time, so we know the routine inside out. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for a bit, which is just part of life in Waliv, but we manage. We don’t spend much time on fancy meetings; it’s mostly just making sure the orders are right and talking to the drivers. If you are looking for us, Shakti I.E. is right there near the main road. It's a hardworking environment, and we fit right in with the other units. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit, but our little corner remains pretty much the same.
