Thakur Public School

We are located in Thakur Village, right off the Western Express Highway in Kandiwali East. If you know the area, you know how busy the highway can get, but the Village itself has its own vibe. The school is a big part of the local scene here. We have people coming in from all the nearby apartment complexes. The building is large, and we’ve got plenty of space, though it feels smaller when all the students are in the hallways at once. We don't really go for promotional talk or making ourselves sound better than we are. We are just a local school doing the daily work. The staff room is always a bit of a mess with books and lunch boxes, which is pretty normal for us. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between the office and the classrooms. The heat can be tough in the afternoons, but the ceiling fans do their job well enough. We have a playground that sees a lot of action, and the noise from the highway is just background music to us now. It’s an honest place where we focus on the basics. No one is trying to be fancy; we just want to make sure the building is open on time and the day goes smoothly. We are just ordinary people working in a busy corner of Kandiwali.
