Sushilkumar Paradkar

You can find me over in Kalyan East, specifically in Hanuman Nagar. I’m at B-19 in the Sainath CHS building. My name is Sushilkumar Paradkar and I’ve been part of this community for a good bit of time. Working out of a housing society like this means you see your neighbors every day and you know the local shopkeepers by name. It’s a busy area, especially near Katemanivli, but inside the society, it’s a bit more tucked away. I didn’t want a fancy office in a big commercial tower. This feels more real. My workspace is just a part of where I live, filled with things I’ve gathered over the years. There are always kids playing in the compound and people chatting near the gate. It can be a bit noisy when the trains go by nearby, but you get used to the rhythm of Kalyan. I do my work without much fuss. I don't use a lot of technology if I can help it, preferring to keep things on paper or in simple files. It’s a one-man show for the most part. If you’re coming from the station, it’s a bit of a ride, but most people know the way. I like the independence of working this way. No bosses, just the daily list of things that need doing. It’s a simple setup but it gets the job done for the people who rely on me. That's just how I've always done it.
