Our office is located up on the seventh floor of Building A-3 in Evergreen City, Phase 2. It’s right across from the GCC club on Mira Road East, which is a big landmark around here. Since we are an OPC, it’s a pretty small operation with just a few of us. We spend our days surrounded by boxes and various medical devices that come in and go out to different clients. It isn't a retail shop, so we don't get many walk-in customers off the street, which is fine by us. Most of our work involves talking to suppliers on the phone and checking the inventory to make sure every device is where it should be. The view from the window is mostly other apartment buildings and the busy road below. Sometimes the elevator takes a while to arrive, but that’s just life in a big housing complex like this one. We have desks piled with manuals and shipping papers that we need to sort through. It can get a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives and we have to unpack everything carefully. We focus on getting the devices to the hospitals and clinics that need them without much delay. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails back and forth all day long. Mira Road is a fast-growing area, and being based in a residential-style building makes it feel more relaxed. We just get on with the daily logistics of the business without much fuss or fanfare.
