Being located in MIDC Phase 1 over in Kalyan, it gets quite noisy with all the other units around us. We are Smj Pharmaceuticals and we have been at Plot No. C/19 for some time. It is a solid brick building. Most of our day is spent looking at paperwork or checking on the supply coming in from the main gates. Thane is a big place, but Kalyan has its own rhythm. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the work we do here counts for something. There is usually a lot of dust from the road outside, so we are always cleaning the desks. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers managing the inventory. If you walk past, you’ll see the sign, though it’s a bit faded from the sun. We handle a lot of different pharmaceutical items. It’s a lot of logistics, honestly. Checking batches, looking at dates, and making sure the storage temperature stays where it should. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The area is pretty industrial, so there isn’t much to see except other factories, but we like the community here. We just keep our heads down and do the job. If you need to find us, we are right in the heart of the first phase of the MIDC area. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need.
