Working out here at Plot No. N-74 in the Anand Nagar Additional Ambernath MIDC means we are part of a very busy industrial area. It is not exactly a scenic place to work, with all the factories and big trucks moving around Thane, but it is where the actual work happens. Our lab is not huge, but we have the equipment we need to get through the daily schedule. We usually start quite early in the morning before the heat really sets in for the day. There is always a lot of paperwork to fill out because of the rules for making chemicals and medicine batches. The floors are hard concrete and we try to keep them clean, though dust from the road outside always finds a way in. Our team is small, mostly people who live nearby or commute from the main part of Ambernath. We eat lunch together in the small break room, usually talking about the local cricket matches or family stuff. It can get pretty loud when the big machines are running in the unit next door. We focus on our batches and making sure all the measurements are exactly right. It is repetitive work, but someone has to do it correctly. The office part is just a couple of desks near the front door where we handle the orders. We do not do any fancy advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here.
