Siemens Ltd.

Siemens Ltd. has a specific team here at the R & D Building on the 6th floor. We are part of the IDT MC-Machine Tools group. Our location is right on the Thane-Belapur Road, which is a major stretch for businesses in this area. Being on the 6th floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are just looking at screens and machine designs. It’s an R & D environment, so it's a bit quieter than a factory floor, but there is still plenty of activity. We spend our days working on various technical projects. The building is pretty standard for this part of Thane. It’s got a lot of offices and people coming and going. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing in our daily routines. We’re more into the engineering and the details of the machine tools. The commute along Thane-Belapur Road can be a bit much during rush hour, but we’re used to it. We have a decent group of people here who have been in this field for a long time. It’s not a flashy lifestyle. We just come in, do our research, and work on the tools. It’s a practical space for technical work. There isn't any big secret to what we do; we just put in the hours at our desks and in the lab areas. We stay busy with the work and the development and keep to ourselves.
