Our office is in the K-Wing of Nasheman Colony, over in Mumbra. We are in room 201. It’s a busy colony with a lot of people coming and going all the time. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It’s not a polished corporate office with glass doors. We have some plastic chairs, a few wooden desks, and a lot of files stacked up in the corner. We do our work here every day from morning until evening. Most of the people we deal with are from the local area or nearby neighborhoods. We don't spend money on advertising because word of mouth seems to work okay for us. It’s a very hands-on type of business. If a lightbulb goes out, one of us changes it. If the floor needs sweeping, we do it ourselves. We don't have a cleaning crew or a maintenance department. It keeps the costs down and we like knowing every inch of our space. Mumbra is a crowded place, but our wing in the colony is actually not too bad for noise. We can usually hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. It feels like we are part of the community rather than just a business sitting there. We just try to stay busy and treat people the way we want to be treated. It is a modest setup, but it’s ours and we make it work through hard work and being here daily.
