Rajesh Y Patil

Rajesh Y Patil is my name and you can find me at the Gautami Nursing Home. We are located in the Shree Siddhi Vinayak Jain Mandir Compound, which is right opposite the Mumbra Police Station. Mumbra is a very busy part of Thane, and there is always something going on outside. Being in a compound with a temple makes the environment a bit unique, as you have the sounds of the bells and the general hum of the area. The nursing home itself is where I spend the majority of my time. It is a place that sees a lot of activity throughout the day and night. We have patients coming in from all over Thane West and the surrounding areas. The police station across the street is a major landmark, so people never really get lost trying to find us. The facility is practical and built for patient care, so it’s not about having fancy decorations. We focus on the health problems that people bring to us, whether they are small injuries or more serious medical needs. My desk is usually buried under folders and patient charts, and there is always a cup of tea somewhere nearby that I’ve forgotten to finish. It’s a high-energy job in a very crowded part of the city, but it feels right to be here serving the local Mumbra crowd.
