Our shop is number thirteen in the Savitribai Society, right on GB Road in Azad Nagar. We are quite close to the Indofil Company, so workers from there often stop by on their way home. It’s a typical medical store in Thane West where the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of medicines and healthcare items. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific tonic or cream because there’s so much stock, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. The counter is always busy with people bringing in their prescriptions or just looking for some bandages and cough syrup. GB Road is always loud with cars, but we are used to the noise by now. We’ve been here in Azad Nagar for quite some time and have gotten to know the families living in the society and nearby buildings. It’s a small space, so things can feel a bit cramped when three or four customers come in at once. We don't do any big advertising, just have our sign outside and keep the lights on. It’s a basic business of providing medicines to whoever needs them. We keep the fridge running for the injections and make sure the stock is updated. If you’re walking past Indofil, you can’t miss us. It’s just us doing our daily job in the shop. We like being part of this local neighborhood and helping people get their supplies. It’s steady work and we keep at it every day for everyone.
