Our shop is located at B18 in the K.G. Plaza, which is part of Agarwal Court on G.P. Road. It’s a pretty central location, so it’s always hectic. The plaza has a lot of foot traffic, and trying to find a parking spot nearby can be a real headache some days. We have stacks of tyres reaching almost to the ceiling in some parts of the store. It has that very specific smell of new rubber that you never quite get used to. The floor is mostly covered in scuff marks from moving things around. We have a small desk where we handle the billing, and there’s usually a stack of newspapers sitting on it. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. It’s just us here, handling the inventory and talking to whoever comes through the door. Some days the heat in the plaza is almost unbearable, so we have a couple of old fans that rattle quite a bit while they’re running. G.P. Road is a busy stretch, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We’ve seen shops come and go, but we’ve stayed right here in B18. We don’t put on any acts; what you see is what you get. We just open up in the morning, do the work, and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home when we finally lock the gate for the night.
