We operate out of Chintu Apartment on Nandivali Road. It’s building number 201, right in the East part of Dombivili. It might seem like a bit of a funny place for a tyre company, being in an apartment building, but it works for us. We handle everything to do with tyres. Rubber, treads, sizes—we talk about these things all day long until we’re tired of it. The area around here is always moving, with lots of vehicles passing by every minute, which is good for business I guess. We aren't some big flashy factory showroom with bright lights. It’s mostly desks, phones, and a lot of logistics work to make sure tyres get where they need to go. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow or broken, so we take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We’ve got a small team here and we’ve been together for a while. We know each other's coffee orders and who’s going to be late because of the train delays. It’s a local life. People come to us because they know we’ve been here in the 421 201 area code for a long time. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re from some high-rise in Mumbai. We just know tyres and we know this neighborhood. The desks are a bit cluttered with order forms and rubber samples. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. That’s just how it goes when you're busy every day.
