Radhika Creations

Down in Koperkhairane, specifically SS-III, you will find us at Room Number 973. It’s right near the Koperkhairane Police Station, which makes it easy for people to find us, though the sirens can be a bit loud sometimes. Radhika Creations is basically a small workspace where we spend most of our waking hours. The room is packed with fabric and patterns, and there’s hardly any space to walk if we have a big project going on. It’s a typical Navi Mumbai neighborhood, very busy and always something happening on the street. We started out with just one machine and a lot of hope. Now, we have a bit more, but the grit is the same. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is always covered in thread scraps by the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom. People just come to the door and look at what we are working on. The police station is a good landmark, so we just tell everyone to look for that. It’s a practical setup for us. We work hard, drink our chai from the stall downstairs, and try to keep up with the local demand. It's just honest work in a small room in Koperkhairane. We’ve known the families around here for years, and that’s how we like it. No fuss, just making things.
