Pratikshah

We started Pratikshah out here in Khardi East because there wasn't much around for people. It's located at Plot No. 154 in Our Town, just along Kashti Road. Thane is quite a big district but our little corner in Dhalkan stays fairly quiet most days. I remember when we first got the keys to L/22. The place needed a lot of cleaning up and we spent weeks just fixing the walls. People walk by now and wave. It's nice being part of the local scene here in Maharashtra. Life moves at its own pace. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy during monsoon and we have to watch the door, but we manage. We aren't a big fancy operation. It's just us doing what we know how to do. Most of our days are spent talking to neighbors or sorting out things for folks who stop in. You won't find any shiny signs or big ads for us. Just a small spot with the pin code 421301 on the mail. It is what it is. We try to keep things simple and honest. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the turn toward the post. We’ve been here a while now and plan on staying. It's home for us. There is always work to be done and we just get on with it. No fuss, really. Just a local business trying to make things work in a small town way.
