Our place is Plot No. A-319 on Road No. 22 in the Wagle Industrial Estate. If you know the estate, you know it’s a maze of roads and factories. We’ve been Pla-Chem Engineers for a long time now. We aren't some new startup with bean bags and coffee machines. We have a solid building, some older machinery that still works great, and a crew that knows what they’re doing. The work we do involves a lot of technical steps, but we don't like to overcomplicate things when talking about it. It’s about getting the chemistry and the engineering right. Sometimes things go wrong, a machine breaks or a shipment is late, and we just deal with it. That’s life in Wagle Estate. The noise from the street is constant, with trucks coming and going at all hours. We stay busy with our own projects and don't pay much attention to the outside world once the gates are closed. Our office is small and usually smells like coffee and old paper. We don’t do big presentations. We just show people what we’ve made and let the work speak for itself. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve stayed in business this long by being consistent and showing up every day. We don’t have a big corporate hierarchy here. If something needs doing, whoever is closest just grabs a tool and gets to it. We just focus on the job at hand.
