Our office is tucked away in the Suncrest Accolade Galaxy building over in Louiswadi. Thane has grown so fast lately, and being here in D 701 keeps us right in the middle of it all. We work on control systems, which basically means a lot of technical stuff that most people don't think about. The space is filled with computers and different parts that we're testing. It's not exactly a showroom. Usually, it’s just a few of us sitting around desks trying to figure out why a particular system isn't responding the way it should. Maharashtra is a big hub for this kind of work, so we stay pretty busy. The building has a lot of other offices too, so there’s always people moving through the hallways. We drink way too much coffee and spend a lot of time on the phone with clients who have technical questions. Sometimes the air conditioning in the office works too well and we’re all wearing sweaters in the middle of summer. It’s a quiet place for the most part, unless we’re testing an alarm or something. We’ve been in Thane for a bit now and like the area because it’s easier to get around than central Mumbai. We just handle the day-to-day stuff, making sure the controls are set up right before they go out. It’s steady work and we have a decent rhythm going here. We don't have a lot of wall decorations, just some old calendars and a few diagrams pinned up near the workbench. It is a simple place for focused work.
