If you’re looking for J.K. Files & Tools, we are based out of P.O. Jekegram. It’s one of those places that feels like it’s built around the work. We’ve been making files and various hand tools for a long time. The factory area is where everything happens. It’s old-school manufacturing. You can hear the sounds of metal being shaped all day long. It’s a very functional place. We don’t have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s more about the iron and the steel. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so it feels like a bit of a community. We have rows and rows of finished tools ready to go out. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are high. It’s not a place for people who don't like getting their hands a bit dirty. We’ve seen a lot of changes in how things are made, but we still stick to the basics that work. Our address is just the post office box in Jekegram because that’s how the mail reaches us best. It’s a quiet town otherwise, except for the noise from our machines. We don’t really spend much time thinking about marketing. We just make sure the files are sharp and the tools are solid. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for years.
