Down at 3 New Laxmi Sadan in Bhayander East, that is where you will find Patni Bags. It is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the main market, which we actually like. We’ve been in this spot for several years. The room is filled with the smell of leather and synthetic materials. It is a scent you never really lose once you start working here. We don't have a lot of help, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you might be cutting patterns and the next you are packing boxes for a shipment. It keeps the day interesting, I suppose. The sunlight comes in through the front window in the morning, which is the best time to work. By the afternoon, we have to turn on all the overhead lights. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a glossy office. The walls have some marks on them and the floor is a bit uneven in places. It’s just a real place where work happens. We know the people who live in the building, and we try not to make too much noise late at night with the machines. Sometimes we get a lot of orders at once and things get a bit chaotic, but we always find a way to get through the pile. It’s just how we operate. We don't have a lot of fancy words to describe it, we just do the work.
