We are Padma Padmavati Opticals over in Thakur Village. You can find us at B-404 in Crystal Avenue, right here in Kandivali East. Most days it is just us helping people pick out frames or fixing a pair of glasses that someone sat on by accident. We have been in this spot for a while now. The neighborhood keeps changing, but we stay pretty much the same. People come in when they need their eyes checked or just want a new look for work. It gets busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home. We deal with all kinds of lenses and frames every day. It is a small shop, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. If you live around Crystal Avenue, you probably know where we are. We do not do anything fancy, just standard optical work. We handle the paperwork, order the parts, and make sure everything is lined up right before a customer walks out the door. It is steady work. We see a lot of the same faces from the village coming in year after year. It feels good to be a part of the local community here. We just keep the shelves stocked and the tools ready.
