Magic Computers

You can find us at Shop No. 3 in Mahima Plaza. We spend most of our time looking at screens and taking apart laptops to see what is wrong inside. There are usually parts and cables scattered all over the workbench. People bring in their computers when they stop turning on or if the screen is cracked. It’s a small shop but we pack a lot into it. We’ve been at Mahima Plaza for a good bit now. Some days it is just constant screen repairs, and other days we are trying to recover data from hard drives that have given up. It’s frustrating work sometimes because software can be stubborn and take hours to scan. We don't wear suits or anything, just casual clothes because we're often crawling under desks to fix wiring. We sell some parts too, like keyboards or mice, if someone needs a quick replacement. The plaza gets busy in the evenings, so that’s usually when more people drop off their stuff for repair. We try to explain what’s wrong without using too much tech talk. If a motherboard is dead, we just say it straight. It is honest work and we enjoy the puzzle of fixing things that seem broken. We have a lot of regular customers from around here who know they can just walk in and ask a question. The shop is a bit cramped but it has everything we need to do the repairs. We keep the lights on late if there is a lot of work to catch up on. It keeps us busy.
