M.P & Company / Mlp & Sons

We are tucked away on the second floor of the Nav Jai Co-operative Society building. The address is B-32 in Sector-7, Shree Nagar, which is part of Wagle Estate. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs since the lift is sometimes slow. M.P & Company, or Mlp & Sons as some people call us, has been operating from this room for a while. It’s not a large office, just enough space for a few desks and some filing cabinets. Wagle Estate is always busy with small businesses like ours. We hear the traffic from the main road throughout the day. The windows look out over some other buildings. It’s a quiet enough spot to get work done. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know how things go. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big meeting room. Usually, we just talk across the desks. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. We keep track of our clients and make sure the orders are moving along. It’s just a regular office life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and manage the business as best as we can. It’s nothing more than that. It is just a job at the end of the day.
