Meditek Speciality

Our place is A/3, 501 in the Gagangiri Enclave. It’s in Khadakpada, Kalyan West. Being on the fifth floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice. Meditek Speciality is what we call ourselves. We deal with medical supplies and equipment. The office is always full of boxes and crates. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the hallway because of all the stock waiting to go out to the customers. We don't have much of a view, just other buildings and the street below. Kalyan is a busy area, so there is always a lot of traffic noise coming up from the ground. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to hospitals and clinics. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We have a small table where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for whoever is hungry in the afternoon. The elevator in this building is a bit slow, so we usually have to wait a while if we’re heading out for lunch or to make a delivery. We know the neighbors in the other offices, and we say hello in the hallway. It’s a decent place to work. We just focus on keeping the inventory organized and making sure the right boxes get to the right people. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists every single morning to stay on top of it.
