M. J. Engineering Works

M. J. Engineering Works is located in the Kothari Compound, specifically in unit C2/5A. It’s a big area, about 27 acres, so it can be easy to get lost if you don't know the way. We are right behind Sterling Motor in Chitlsar Manpada. The compound is always full of activity, with different engineering shops and warehouses all doing their own thing. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready environment. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone shouting over a generator. Our space is filled with tools, scrap metal, and projects in various stages of being finished. We don't spend money on decorating the place because it would just get dirty anyway. We focus on the engineering side of things and making sure our repairs and fabrications are solid. The guys here have grease on their hands most of the time, and we prefer it that way. It shows we are actually working. Sometimes it’s hard for people to find us behind Sterling Motor, so we often have to go out to the main road to show them the way in. We aren't a big corporation with a board of directors. We are just a small team of workers who know how to handle machinery. It’s noisy and messy, but it is our livelihood, and we take pride in just getting the job done right without any extra talk.
