Maharashtra Power Transmission Structures Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 351 in Musarne village, which is in the Wada region. It sounds like a big name, but we are just a group of people working in a big shed out in the country. We make structures for power lines and things like that. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and welding. The plot is large because the things we build take up a lot of room. Wada is a bit quiet compared to the city, which is nice sometimes. We have a lot of metal lying around in various stages of being finished. Some pieces are raw steel and others are already shaped. We have a schedule we try to stick to, but things happen. Machines break down or parts get delayed. We just work through it. Our team is mostly local guys who know their way around a torch and a crane. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come to visit, you'll probably have to wait for someone to finish what they're doing before they can talk to you. We are more concerned with the quality of the welds than how the office looks. It gets hot in the shed during the summer, but we keep the fans going. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it at Plot No. 351 for a good while. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just keep building until the day is over.
