It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but it’s a good spot for what we do. The surroundings are a bit more rural than people expect. We deal with a lot of metal work and engineering tasks that come from the local industries in Thane. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a shop floor and a small area for the paperwork. It’s often loud because of the machinery, but that’s part of the job. We don't have any shiny brochures or a sales team. Usually, people find us through word of mouth or because they need something specific built from metal. The rain during the monsoon can make the roads around Ankharpada a bit tricky, but we still make it in every day. We’ve been operating here for a while now, and we know most of the other small workshops nearby. We focus on the engineering side of things, making sure parts are sized correctly and the metal is the right grade. It’s not fancy work, but it’s necessary for the projects we take on. We just keep our heads down and do what the clients ask for. It’s a steady life and we like the location.
