Metal Coat Engineers

Metal Coat Engineers is based out of Gala 2/C in the Kothari Compound. It’s part of that big 27 Acres area off Tikuji-Ni-Wadi Road in Manpada. It can be a bit tricky to find if you’ve never been here before because the compound is quite large. We do a lot of coating work on metal parts here. The smell of paint and chemicals is just part of the job. We have our setup in the gala and it works for us. It’s not a showroom or anything. It’s a working shop. We spend our days prepping surfaces and applying finishes. It’s hard work and it gets messy. Our clothes usually have spots of whatever we were working on that day. The Manpada area has grown a lot, but this compound still feels like an old-school industrial spot. We’ve got a core group of guys who have been doing this for years. They know the rhythm of the machines and the timing of the coatings. We don't use big fancy words to describe what we do. We just coat metal so it lasts longer or looks better. Sometimes we have to redo things if they aren't right, because we care about the end result. It’s a simple business model. We get the parts in, we do the work, and we send them back out. There’s no secret to it, just keeping a steady hand and watching the clock. We’ve been at it for a while and don't plan on changing much. It works for us.
