We’re based out of the Pitre Brothers Compound, specifically units 10 and 11. LabLink is on the Kalyan-Shill Road in Dombivli East. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always a lot of activity and trucks moving about. Our side of things is a bit more controlled because we deal with lab equipment and related services. It’s a lot of precise work, making sure things are calibrated and ready for use. The compound has a bit of a history, and we’ve been part of it for a bit now. Our workspace is practical; we have benches for testing and shelves full of parts. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a tie. Most of us are in work clothes, dealing with the day-to-day tasks of keeping the lab gear in order. Dombivli can be a bit chaotic with the road work and the commuters, but once you’re inside the compound, it’s mostly just us getting on with the job. We don’t have a lot of fancy signs or a big lobby. Usually, people just knock on the door or give us a call when they need something sorted. We keep a pot of coffee going and try to get through the list of repairs and orders as they come in. It’s honest work, and we like the fact that we can help out other labs and businesses from this little corner of the road in Maharashtra.
