Kotmukha Primary School

We are over here at 141, S V Road. It gets pretty loud outside sometimes because Jogeshwari West is always moving. Kotmukha Primary School has been in this spot for a while now. You can see the kids coming in through the gate every morning when the sun is still low. Mumbai mornings are like that. We spend our days inside these walls while the traffic on S V Road just keeps going. Some people miss the building if they are driving too fast towards the station. It is just a regular school building, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, it is different. There are chairs and desks and the sound of chalk on boards. We have the pincode 400102. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and we have to watch the water on the road. The staff here knows most of the faces that walk past the entrance. We are just a local primary school trying to get through the day's lessons. It gets dusty because of the road work that never seems to end in this part of Mumbai. People stop by to ask for directions quite often. We just point them down S V Road. It’s a busy life here in Jogeshwari. The school stays busy too. That is how it has been for years at number 141. We just open up and do what we need to do.
