Kothapally Primary School

You can find Kothapally Primary School on Ashok Chakravarti Road. We are right in the middle of Kandivali East. It's a local school for the younger kids in the neighborhood. Every morning starts with a bit of a scramble as the kids arrive and the parents drop them off. We’ve been at this location for years, and the building has its quirks. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it's a place for learning. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. The teachers here just care about getting the kids to read, write, and do their sums. We talk to the parents on the sidewalk a lot during the afternoons. It’s that kind of place. Mumbai 400101 is a fast-paced area, but inside the school, we try to slow things down a bit for the little ones. It gets pretty dusty with the road right there, but we sweep up every day before the first bell. We aren't some high-end private academy. We are just a neighborhood primary school. There’s always someone losing a pencil or a lunchbox, and we spend time looking for them. It's messy and real. We like it that way. Most people around here know us because their older kids or even they themselves came here too. It is a simple life at the school. We just show up and do the work day in and day out.
