Kishor Ushir

Over in Ulhasnagar, specifically in Shivaji Nagar, Maratha Section No 32, is where you’ll find me. My name is Kishor Ushir. This part of Thane district is always humming with activity. There’s a lot of small shops and workshops around here, and I’m just one of them. I’ve been working in this area since I was young. I learned the ropes from watching others and eventually decided to start my own thing. It wasn't easy at first. There were months where I didn't know if I’d make enough to pay the rent. But I stuck with it. Now, things are a bit more stable. I don't have a fancy showroom or a big staff. It’s just a practical space where the work gets done. I spend a lot of my time talking to people on the street or handling things face-to-face. I don't really trust the internet for everything; I think meeting someone in person is better. My hands are usually a bit dirty from work, and the office smells like tea and old paper. That’s just the way it is. We don't have a big mission statement. We just want to finish the day knowing we didn't cut any corners or let anyone down. If someone isn't happy with something, they come and tell me, and I fix it. It’s a very direct way of doing business, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It works for us.
