Down in Turbhe, you’ll find Kaul-High Impex Pvt. Ltd. at D-39/2/1. We are right opposite the MTNL building and near that big Hyundai showroom. Turbhe is an industrial spot, so there’s always trucks moving around and a lot of dust in the air. Our building is a bit grey and plain, but it serves its purpose. We deal with impex stuff, so there’s a lot of loading and unloading happening nearby. The office itself is just a few rooms with basic furniture. We have a big map on the wall that’s been there since we opened. It’s a bit faded now. We spend most of our time on the computer or talking to transporters. It’s not a quiet place because of the main road and the industrial activity around us. We’ve gotten used to the noise though. Sometimes the water cooler leaks a bit, and we have to put a towel under it. It’s those little things you just deal with in a working office. We aren’t a huge team, just a handful of people who’ve worked together for a long time. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who prefers to work in silence. We just keep things moving, making sure the shipments are tracked and the papers are signed. It’s just another day in Turbhe for us. We just finish our tasks and try to beat the traffic home. It gets really backed up near the bridge.
