It People

You can find us at Lokmanyanagar in Thane West, right in Room No. 164 of the Om Kadambary housing society. We are right opposite the R.J. Thakur Vidyamandir school, so you can always hear the kids playing or the bell ringing during the day. It is Pada No. 03, a part of the neighborhood that feels very local and lived-in. Our space is not very big, just a room where we set up our computers and desks to get things done. Being part of It People means we are usually staring at screens or trying to figure out some technical glitch that shouldn't be happening. The society has that typical Thane feel where everyone is kind of in each other's business but in a friendly way. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes for a bit, and we just take that as a sign to grab some vada pav from the corner. It is a humble setup, really. We don’t have fancy chairs or a coffee machine that makes lattes. It’s more about the people sitting in the chairs and the work they are typing out. We chose this spot because it's easy for us to reach and it feels like home. If you walk past the school and see a bunch of folks looking tired but focused, that’s probably us. We just keep at it, day after day, in our little corner of Thane.
