INTEGRAL SAFETY ENGINEERS

You can find Integral Safety Engineers over in the M.I.D.C. Phase One area of Dombivali East. We are located at plot P-53, which is right near the Usma Petrol Pump, so it is fairly easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. Being in Thane, we are right in the middle of a lot of industrial activity. Our work mostly involves safety engineering, which sounds more formal than it feels on a daily basis. We spend a lot of time looking at equipment, checking sensors, and making sure various industrial setups aren't going to cause any problems. The office is a bit old-fashioned, with lots of files and technical manuals stacked on the shelves. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and factory work nearby, but that’s just part of being in an M.I.D.C. zone. We started this because there was a need for practical safety checks in the local factories. There are a few of us who have been doing this for years now. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that; word just gets around among the other businesses in the area. It’s a lot of site visits and writing up reports on what needs fixing. Sometimes we are out in the field more than we are in the office. It is honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just try to do a thorough job every time we go out and come back to the office.
