Ici India Ltd, Paints Division

Our office is over in Vashi, specifically in Sector 8 at a building called Anweshan. It’s on Lane B, Plot 110. If you’ve spent any time in Navi Mumbai, you know Sector 8 is a busy place but it has its own rhythm. We are the Paints Division for Ici India Ltd, but we don’t spend our time making grand speeches. Most of the day is spent looking at orders, talking to people on the phone, and keeping track of the inventory. The office at 3D is a functional space. It’s not decorated with anything fancy. We have our desks, our computers, and plenty of coffee to keep us going. The lane outside can get a bit crowded with delivery trucks and people moving about, which is just part of the deal when you’re in a hub like Vashi. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighborhood pretty well. It’s a good place for a paints division because things are always moving and there’s always something to be done. We don't really have a corporate culture like you’d find in a high-rise in Mumbai. It’s more about getting the job done and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. It’s a bit noisy, a bit messy sometimes, but it’s where we work and we’re used to it by now.
