Our office is tucked away in Flat Number 204 of the Himpushpa CHS building in Airoli. If you know Sector 20C in Navi Mumbai, you know it’s a residential neighborhood that’s grown a lot lately. We operate out of this apartment because it’s quiet and lets us focus on the logistics of the pharma business without the noise of a main road. It’s not your typical glass-fronted corporate office; it feels more like a home, which we actually prefer. We have our desks set up in the main room and the files are kept in the back. Sometimes the building lift acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, but that’s just part of life here. Being in Mumbai, things move fast, but inside our four walls, we try to keep a steady pace. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. It’s a small operation, just a handful of people making sure the orders for Grandir Pharmaceuticals get processed correctly. We don’t have fancy signs outside. People who need to find us usually just look for Plot No 17. It gets a bit cramped when a lot of supplies arrive at once, but we manage by stacking things neatly in the corners. It’s a simple setup, nothing too flashy, just a place where we come every morning to get our lists finished and our work done.
