Gmk Agro Marine Foods is based in Vasai East, over in Thane. We are in Evershine City, specifically at Mangal Vandan, building EC-60, apartment A-101. We do a mix of things, dealing with both land produce and stuff from the sea. Being near the coast helps with the marine side of things. It’s not a huge warehouse or anything; we run things mostly from our office here. It gets pretty busy trying to coordinate between the farmers and the fishermen. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking on shipments. Vasai is a good place for this kind of work because we are close to Mumbai but still have some space. We aren't a big corporate giant. It’s a small team of us working together. Sometimes things are a bit chaotic when a lot of fresh stock comes in at once. We have to move fast so nothing goes to waste. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We just try to get good food from the source to the customers. It’s a lot of legwork and long days. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors know us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. It’s a lot of phone calls and spreadsheets.
