Giani Ice Cream

We are set up in Shop No 3 at Dlh Udaaka Heights in Siddharth Nagar. It’s right there in Goregaon West, near the red light which is always busy. The traffic can be a nightmare sometimes, but it means a lot of people see our shop while they’re waiting for the light to change. We opened up here because the building is new and it seemed like a good spot for an ice cream place. My wife helps me with the accounts and the ordering while I stay at the shop during the day. We have some regulars who come from the nearby offices during their lunch break or right after they finish work. The shop is small but we keep it tidy. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the place cool which is the main thing in Mumbai. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit inside, so most customers take their orders to go or stand out on the sidewalk. It gets really busy on Friday and Saturday nights. I usually have to stay late to clean up and get things ready for the next morning. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but you get used to it. We try to keep the favorite flavors in stock so nobody leaves disappointed. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop trying to keep things going. We enjoy seeing the neighborhood grow around us.
