FRIZ COOL

Friz Cool is based at number 8 in the Idgah Compound, right near Geeta Society in Charai. This part of Thane has a lot of character and it’s quite old. The compound itself is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with it. We have a modest workshop where we keep all our tools and cooling equipment parts. It’s often quite warm inside, which is ironic given the name of the company, but that’s just the nature of working in a small space in this climate. We don't have any big neon signs or a fancy storefront. Most of our work is done on the benches or out at different sites, so the shop is mainly a home base for the team. You’ll usually see a couple of ladders leaning against the wall and some toolboxes ready to go. The neighbors in Geeta Society are used to us by now, and we try not to make too much noise early in the morning. We don't have a receptionist; if the phone rings, whoever is free just wipes their hands and picks it up. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time checking valves and recharging systems. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We just enjoy the work and the fact that we have a steady spot in a neighborhood we know well. We don't need much else to keep it running.
