Flexon Cables

Down in Vasai East, you will find Flexon Cables at Building No 7 in the Shah Ind. Plazasativali. It’s one of those big complexes where every unit is doing something different, from plastics to heavy metal work. Our unit is usually buzzing with the sound of the extruders and the winding machines. The air is often thick with the smell of warm PVC because we’re constantly coating wires. It’s a tough environment, especially when the humidity gets high, but we’re used to it by now. We have a routine that starts with checking the raw copper reels and ends with packing the finished cables into rolls. The floor is always covered in some amount of scrap material, no matter how much we try to sweep it up during the day. We are just a group of regular people who come in, do the work, and go home. There isn't any fancy management style here; we just talk to each other across the machines to get things done. Building No 7 is a solid place, and we’ve made our corner of it as efficient as we can. We don't really have time for anything that isn't related to getting the orders out. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh during the breaks, but mostly it is just steady work. Sativali is a busy industrial zone, and we are just one part of the machinery that keeps it all going.
