Our main spot is at Gala No. 3 in the Siddhivinayak Estate on Old Katap Road, right across from Gta Nagar in East Badlapur. But we also have space over at the Achhad Industrial Estate on National Highway No. 8. Managing both places keeps us moving back and forth quite a bit. Being near the highway means there's always a lot of traffic and noise, which you get used to. We make all sorts of furniture, so the shop is usually full of wood shavings and the smell of varnish. It’s a messy job, but seeing a piece of wood turn into a chair or a table is okay. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our furniture is just stacked up where we have room. People come in from the road because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in Badlapur. The heat in the industrial estate can be tough during April and May, but we just keep the doors open. We have a few guys working the saws and others doing the finishing work. It’s a lot of physical labor and lifting heavy boards. We aren't some big corporate chain; we’re just a local furniture shop trying to get the orders done on time. Sometimes a delivery is late because of the highway traffic, but that’s just part of being in Achhad. We just deal with it as it comes.
