Our place is Shop No 1 right on Khartan Road. If you are a student or live near Thana College, you probably pass us every day since we are right opposite the main entrance. It’s a very active street. There are always people walking by, mostly youngsters heading to class or grabbing a bite to eat. The shop is small and sits right on the edge of the pavement. We get a lot of noise from the road, especially the buses and rickshaws that pile up at the junction. Inside Doiphode Infotech, it’s a bit more contained. We have our workstations lined up and a couple of stools for anyone who needs to wait. The walls are covered with some technical posters and shelves for parts. It’s a working shop, so things can look a bit cluttered at times with cables and boxes. We don't mind the mess much; it shows we are busy. The floor is tiled but gets dirty pretty quickly with all the foot traffic from the college across the way. We’ve been here at this Khartan Road spot for a while now. It’s a good location because it’s easy to explain to anyone where we are. Just tell them 'opposite the college' and they find us. We open up in the morning and close once the street lights have been on for a bit. It is just a normal shop doing its thing.
