Our place, Dex-Vin Polymers, is located over in Majiwada. We are right by Best Winding Works and just across from the big Paper Products Ltd factory. It’s a very industrial part of the neighborhood, so it’s not exactly quiet or pretty. We work with polymer compounds and different kinds of plastic materials. The air inside always has that faint, sharp smell of raw chemicals and heated plastic. We have a few heavy machines that have been with us for a long time, and they make a steady thumping sound that you just get used to. My day usually involves checking the raw material stock and making sure the mixing ratios are correct for whatever batch we are running. It’s a lot of physical work, moving heavy bags and monitoring the output. We don't have a fancy office or any plush chairs. Most of our meetings happen while we’re standing on the factory floor. The building itself is older, and the roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we know exactly where to put the buckets. We have a small group of workers who have been here for years, and we all know the routine. We don't go for big marketing campaigns; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here a long time and people know our work. It’s just about getting the polymer right and making sure the orders are ready for the trucks when they arrive.
