Chevi Enterprise

Our office is tucked away in room A-211 of the B.G. Tower, right near Delhi Darwaja on Shahibaug Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise coming through our window. We set up Chevi Enterprise because we saw a gap in how things were being supplied around here and thought we could do it ourselves. It’s a pretty simple setup inside. Just a couple of desks, some filing cabinets, and a kettle for tea when things get slow in the afternoon. We spend most of our time on the phone or tracking orders for customers who need things delivered yesterday. Dealing with logistics near the old city gates can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. It’s not the biggest operation you’ll find in the tower, but we manage to get things done. Most days, it’s just a few of us making sure everything is moving along as it should. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to make sure the people who buy from us get what they asked for without a lot of fuss. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like, which is good for the heart I suppose. We’ve been here long enough that the chai wallah downstairs knows exactly how we like our morning tea, usually with a bit of extra ginger on rainy days.
