Amul Ice Cream Parlour

Started out in Kandivali East a few years back because we wanted to have a spot where people could just grab a scoop without any fuss. The shop isn't very big, but we keep the freezers running cold all day. It gets pretty crowded on weekend evenings when families finish dinner and walk over for dessert. Sometimes the line gets long and the floor gets a bit sticky from kids dropping their cones, but we try to clean it up as fast as we can. We stock most of the usual flavors you expect from Amul, like the family packs and the small cups. If you're looking for something specific, it's better to come early before the popular ones sell out. The lighting inside is a bit bright and the seating is just a few stools, so most people just stand outside on the pavement while they eat. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. My nephew helps out behind the counter during his college breaks. We just keep the place open until late so people in the neighborhood have somewhere to go when they have a sugar craving at ten at night. Nothing special about it, just a regular ice cream place. We’ve had some trouble with the power cutting out occasionally, but the generator usually kicks in fast enough to keep things from melting. Hope you find what you need when you stop by Kandivali.
