AMBIENCE AIRCON PVT. LTD. sits at Plot No. A-158 on Road No. 25. We are right opposite Udit Motors in the Wagle Indl. Estate. If you know Thane, you know this part of town is always buzzing with people and vehicles. Our workshop is usually full of air conditioning units in different stages of being fixed or cleaned. There are copper pipes, filters, and toolboxes scattered around the workbenches. The office is small and the phone rings a lot, especially when the weather gets hot and everyone’s AC starts acting up. Our technicians are usually out on the road in their vans, so the shop can feel a bit empty in the middle of the day. Only a couple of us stay back to handle the walk-ins and the paperwork. We’ve got a lot of old ledgers and service records piled up on the shelves. It’s not a showroom. It’s more of a service hub where we get our hands greasy and deal with mechanical problems. We don't wear suits here. We wear work shirts that usually have a few stains on them by noon. The tea stall at the corner is where we usually grab a break. We just try to keep up with the repairs and make sure the parts are in stock. It’s simple work but it keeps us very busy all year round regardless of the season.
