Allumina Concepts

If you are driving down Old Agra Road, you’ll find us in the Vandekar Building at Plot No.1362 C. We are right across from the Ndcc Bank, which makes it easy for people to find the place. At Allumina Concepts, we spend most of our time dealing with metal and glass. There is a lot of cutting and measuring involved, so you have to be careful with your fingers. The shop floor is usually covered in little silver scraps of aluminum that we have to sweep up every evening. It’s a bit loud when the saws are running, so we don't talk much during those times. We just get on with the assembly. The building itself is an older one, but it serves us well for what we need to do. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a big project taking up all the floor space. The traffic on the road outside is a constant hum, especially with the bank being right there across from us. We get a lot of people stopping by just to ask questions or see what we are working on today. It’s a hands-on trade, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time. Nothing fancy about the office part of it, just a place to keep the invoices and take some measurements. We just try to get the frames right and keep the customers happy without making a big fuss about things. It's a solid way to spend the day.
